AC Drives
The variable speed drives are used ton perform a complete control of an AC motor.
AC Motors
There are typically 2 AC motor type: AC-induction motor that allows a constant rotation and reversible motor that allows a full duplex operation.
Breakers
Circuit breaker is an electronic device to interrupt the current if there is failure in the protectec circuit. Unlike the fuse, the breaker may rearm and does not need to be replaced after default.
Counters
Electronic or mechanical modules to count items in a process. The counters are available in different formats and ar available with or without a reset function.
Electronic panel meters
These modules are used to display process data to the operator. The electronic displays have different types of control input (4 to 20mA, 0-10V) and offer scalability to represent actual values. They also offer the possibility of alarm signals.
Motor controls
Often called starters, motor controllers not only start the motor, it also protect it by using a device that monitors the current or temperature.
Power capacitors
The power capacitors are used to correct the power factor of the electrical input. The power factor is the ratio between the real power and apparent power. A poor power factor will result in loss of line, wasting the capacity and reduce the efficiency of electricity infrastructure. Moreover, additional charges are imposed by suppliers when the electrical power factor in inadequate.
Power supplies
Part of the system that provided power to the various components of the automation system. They are available in a wide range of powers and tension.
Programmable controllers (PLC)
A PLC is a module containing a microprocessor to control a process in a difficult business environment. There is a wide variety of PLC; they must be selected depending on the size and complexity of the project to be completed.
Push buttons
Complete series of buttons which enables an operator to interact with the control system
Relays
The relays are used to make the transition from two different sources; usually from control circuit to power circuit.
Safety products
Product group to restrict dangerous areas on an industrial machine. There is a full range of products meet safety standards.
Signal converters
Interface that isolate and convert control signals. Often configurable, these modules offer several possibilities for signal conversions.
Softstarts
The softstarts are used to start engines by offering a acceleration ramp to avoid big startup current, which would be caused by a direct feed. Depending on the type of applications and system requirements, it may be advantageous to use a softstart rather than a drive.
Switches
The switch makes reading following a mechanical movement of a lever. They are often used as limit switch to check the status of a mechanical component such as opening a door.
Terminal blocks
Modules used to interconnect wires in a control panel.
Timers
The timers are used to delay action in a process. They are available in different operation modes as: ON-delay, Repeat-cycle, Signal ON/OFF-delay, Interval, One shot, Power Off-delay, etc.
Touch screens
Often called HMI or operator interface, these screens allow an operator to configure and interact with a process.
Wire duct
Conduits to pass wires for a clean installation in a control panel.
Wire markers
Systems allowing identification of wires and terminals of a control panel.
Wireless systems
Systems allowing a wireless communication using different types of network protocols.
